Arms Transfer Profiling Initiative (ATPI)

The Arms Transfer Profiling Initiative (ATPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to support the detection and disruption of illicit and clandestine arms deliveries, in order to reduce armed violence and thereby create safer and more peaceful communities.

ATPI believes in working with others to achieve common objectives. Our aim is to empower local partners with the skills to become more effective and sustainable in the detection and disruption of clandestine weapons deliveries. We have developed an Arms Transfer Profiling and Indicators System (ATPIS), which is simple to use, yet sophisticated in its impact.

ATPI primarily carries out ATPIS development and training programmes with a range of governments and international, regional, national and local organisations.
